Do quotes include waste disposal?
Ours always do, licensed disposal as a visible line. A quote without a waste line meets that cost later, with interest.
Projects & timing
How long does a garden project take?
Patios and decks three to seven days; fencing one to two; full makeovers two to four weeks. Written timescales come with every quote.
Can landscaping happen in winter?
Hard landscaping mostly yes in mild spells; turfing and planting wait for spring or autumn for good horticultural reasons.
Do I need plans or design before quoting?
No, a site visit and a rough idea are enough to price from. Design packages (from £500) exist for when layout, levels or drainage change.
Can big projects be phased?
Yes, and most are: hard landscaping first, lawn and planting by season, extras later. Phased costing is standard in our design packages.
Teesside specifics
My garden is heavy clay and waterlogged. Can it be fixed?
Yes: engineered falls, drainage, soil improvement and the right materials. It is the region's standard problem and the survey identifies the fix before pricing.
My new-build garden is rubble under an inch of soil. What then?
Excavation and soil import first, then the garden. Skipping the dig is why most new-build lawns and patios fail, and why our quotes itemise it.
What survives coastal gardens in Redcar and Hartlepool?
Porcelain or sealed stone, closeboard fencing on concrete posts, composite decking, salt-tolerant planting. Coastal spec is standard on exposed plots.
